Graduated in Chemistry from Govt. College Kasaragod and in Law from Govt. Law College Calicut. He has practiced as advocate in the Subordinate Courts under the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala for 10 years. Thereafter, entered in High Court Service at Ernakulum. Subsequently he served in Kannur University and retired from Gazetted Rank. Currently, he is a Member of Multi Disciplinary Committee and Drafting Committee for anti-ragging laws of Government of Kerala, constituted in compliance with the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala.

He has published a book titled “RAGGING AND SAFEGUARDS UNDER LAW”. The book has been forwarded by Justice J.B Koshy, former Chief Justice of Patna High Court and Chairman of Kerala State Human Rights Commission. The book is first one of that kind in the field of anti-ragging law and hence received wide acceptance and appreciation.
